Built for trade and professional associations rather than adapted from something else — and the association's own website is part of it, not a separate product with a separate price.
Everything here comes out of the same membership record — the invoice, the renewal form, the directory on your site, the program for your conference.
§ 01 WHAT IT RUNS
One subscription, one login, one record behind all of it. No modules to add, no website quoted separately by somebody else.
01
Companies, contacts, vehicles, categories, history — whatever your association counts, held once and counted the way your bylaws say.
Bands, flat rates, per-unit or mixed. Issued, chased, receipted and aged against the date you set.
One link a year to a form in your own words, pre-filled, with a person between the answer and the bill.
02
Pages, notices, a member directory that reads from the list, and a real preview at real widths. Your own domain, version history, one-click rollback.
Dates, venue, the schedule and who is speaking when — on your own site, published from the same place as everything else, and last year's edition stays up.
Suppliers who pay to be listed, with their own plans, offers and articles — and a public directory that reads from the same record.
03
Notices to the membership and to the public page, sent by a person, recorded against the record.
Handbooks, board papers and forms uploaded; session recordings and training video linked from YouTube. Gathered into collections and posted where members already look for them.
Ask the membership a question and get an answer back without handling sixty replies by hand. One link each, results that add up.
04
Board and committee minutes, with each decision its own record and searchable by its own words. Visibility chosen per item — the board, the membership, or the public register.
Classes, seats, registrations and the invoices that follow — including the people who do not turn up, which is the part that usually goes unbilled.
What is owed and how old it is, what share of the year has been collected, how far the renewal has got — read off the same record rather than re-keyed into slides.
§ 03 HOW IT WORKS
Members, contacts, vehicles — whatever your association counts. What each one owes is derived from it, so correcting a fleet count corrects the invoice instead of starting an argument.
Once a year each company gets a link to a form your association wrote, filled in with what you already hold. Corrections wait for a person. Nothing that changes a bill changes it quietly.
A number on an invoice points back at the answer a member gave and the person who accepted it. A year later, "where did you get this?" still has an answer.
Draft, look at the real page at real widths, publish, roll back. The preview is the page itself rather than an approximation of it, because an approximate preview eventually lies about something that matters.
§ 04 THE CONFERENCE
Every association has one event that comes back each year in a new city. The dates, the venue, where to stay, the speakers, the sponsors, the schedule and the handbooks people download — published from the same place as the rest of the site, and last year's edition is still there.
Send the program in whatever shape it arrived — a designer's PDF, a table pasted out of a spreadsheet, prose with the times buried in it — and the sessions and speakers are read out of it and staged for a person to check before anything is published.
Every assisted feature has a written fallback, so the software runs with no AI key at all: degraded, never broken — and what each call cost is recorded against the association, so nobody is surprised by a bill.
§ 06 WHAT YOU KEEP
The association's site runs on its own address, not a subdomain of ours.
Members, Operators, Contractor Members — associations do not share a vocabulary and are not made to.
Who was invoiced, who was written to, what changed on a record and who changed it — appended, never overwritten. When a member disputes a figure, the answer is the record rather than somebody's memory.
Version history with one-click rollback, and storage credentials that cannot delete.
Deadlines, send times and publish schedules resolve where the association is, not where the server is.
Drafting can be assisted. Reaching a member is a person's decision, every time.
If you keep your membership in a spreadsheet and your dues in a second one, that is the conversation.
